OUR WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS
We have 2 wonderful LSU-UG students that have been working at LIL since April 2018, Daniel Hebert and Katherine G Beyer.They are very diligent and hard working team members of LIL and we are very grateful for their contribution to LIL's productivity and data collection.
NEW RESEARCH COLLABORATION ESTABLISHED
The overall research goal is to improve swallowing function and quality of life outcomes for HNC patients undergoing rad +/- chemo. Collaborative work between Dr.Kunduk, LSU-COMD and a food scientist Dr. Prinyawiwatkul (Horace J. Davis Endowed Professor, LSU-School od Nutrution and Food Sciences) aims to produce a supplemental food that addresses the limitations of currently available supplements to head amd neck cancer patients.
